Nestled 1,142 meters above sea level, the oldest golf course of Bali and Indonesia offers a par seventy-two, 6,432-yard eighteen hole championship course surrounded by rolling mountain, crater lakes and ancient rainforest. The Handara is a deceptively difficult course whose design is meant to blend the fairways and create a dramatic backdrop for tee shots and approaches. Clouds are common in the afternoon, so the morning is the perfect time to start your game here. During the rainy season the course is somewhat cooler but with an average temperature of 17 Celsius degrees and little or no wind, The Handara is probably the most comfortable golf location in Bali.
