Munduk and Mayong, located in the highlands just behind Villa Bossi, are small farming villages still waiting to be discovered by the general tourist. Totally unspoiled, these picturesque towns, which hug verdant mountainsides, surrounded by coffee plantations, waterfalls and rice paddies, bring to mind the legend of Shangri-La and have  everything for an unforgettable trek through the surrounding villages and rice fields.

A hiking or mountain biking tour with our local guide Putu through the rice paddies of Munduk & Mayong is a ‘must-do’ during your stay at Villa Bossi. We offer different trails with a varying degree of duration (1 - 4 hours) and difficulty. Some operators in Munduk offer longer trails. Our staff will be more than happy to make the necessary arrangements.
